Then huge moisture-filled clouds move across the sky. And the raindrops that look like tears falling from the sky wipe away the sad darkness of the night. In addition, the poet compares raindrops with tears, since for him the dark sky seems very sad. Also, it seems as if he is crying and the raindrops are the tears he sheds. He also adds that it is like a blessing to lie on the bed in his room. And listen to the sound of raindrops falling on the roof.

In the next stanza, the poet expresses his feelings by listening to the raindrops falling on the roof of his house. Poet says that every tinkle in the tiles has an echo in the heart. Every time he hears raindrops falling on the roof, the sound is repeated in his heart and in his dreams. Also, he has many different and fantastic imaginations. Also, the raindrops falling on the rooftops create many different dreams in his mind. For example, he recalls many memories from the past that come back to his mind in the form of dreams. Therefore, he hears the patter of the rain on the roof, he has many new dreams in his mind. And his memories of the past return in the form of dreams.

In the last stanza, the poet introduces his mother

and says that he is dreaming of his mother. As in the previous stanza that the rain brings back memories of the past. These were the memory of his mother who has left the poet alone in this world and she is no longer alive . Long ago, his mother loved him very much and considered him a beloved child. Besides, it would let him sleep until dawn and have sweet dreams. As he listens to the song made by the raindrops that fall on the roof of his room, he feels that his mother is watching him. In addition, the sound of the rain makes him correlate his past with his present. That is why he was so moved by the sound of raindrops on the tiles in his room. Every time you hear this sound, it brings back memories of the past as  he remembers his mother.
